Back in mid-June we brought you
our exclusive report full of details about World Events Productions' online-only DVD release of
Denver, the Last Dinosaur - Volume 2. We
followed up about a month ago with your first look at the package and disc label art for that release (which you can see again below). In both reports we passed along word from WEP that they expected this disc to be available in July.
That obviously hasn't happened yet, due to some last-minute hold-ups. However, we've gotten word from WEP this morning that the release now has a firm date to go on sale starting
August 26th. We're told the content is exactly as we've previously reported, with no changes. This release will be available exclusively online, at first only via
WEP's "Voltron store" (part of Voltron.com). Later on the same item will also be available via Amazon.com, but possibly at a higher cost (we guess Amazon needs their cut, eh?). The cost of
Denver, the Last Dinosaur - Volume 2 will be $24.95 regularly, but when it goes on sale at first it will be discounted additionally to $19.95...call it an early bird special! Or should that be an "early pterosaur special"? Whichever it is, be sure to jump on it: sales of Volume 2 will help WEP decide whether to move forward with continued releases of
Denver on DVD!
