For fans of
Degrassi: The Next Generation it's been a long time - since last July - that they were able to get a new season set of their favorite show on DVD! But now it looks like the long wait for
Degrassi: The Next Generation - Season 6 is almost over. Over at the message boards of the Degrassi.TV website (free registration required) is
a thread which contains a post this past Monday (1/21/08) from "ExecProducer". This is indicated to be one of the Executive Producers of the series, possibly Stephen Stohn (but the person isn't directly named in the message boards). Here is what "ExecProducer" says:
"Looks like May 27 for the Degrassi 6 DVD set..."
We've tried to get confirmation of this from a second source, but have been unable to get that so far. Still, enough readers have e-mailed us with this, that we've decided to share it for now. However, we're not putting this on our schedule quite yet. We're continuing to look into it, though, so stay tuned and we'll update you with further developments. Our thanks to reader Justin Dizon for being the first to alert us to this info, and helping us track down the exact entry at the message boards.
