Word is that HBO Home Video has set their sights on a February, 2005 release for the first season of
Deadwood. The show was recently nominated for 11 Emmy awards, including:
- Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series (Brad Dourif)
- Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series (Robin Weigert)
- Outstanding Directing for a Drama Series (Walter Hill)
- Outstanding Writing for a Drama Series (David Milch)
The David Miltch-created show was picked up for a second season shortly after the premiere of the first season.
