Late in June we
had the heads-up that HBO/Warner would release
Deadwood - The Complete Series on DVD late this year. We even had an early "mock-up" picture of the possible packaging. But this morning the studio made it official and announced the title, so now we've got the release date, cost, and final package art for you on this set!
December 9th will see the release of this 19-disc set, covering all three seasons of the acclaimed series starring Timothy Olyphant, Ian McShane, Molly Parker, Jim Beaver and Brad Dourif. The cost will be $179.97 SRP. Video will be in anamorphic widescreen, with audio in English 5.1 Dolby. Packaging, shown below, will be in a "book-like" digipak format, that slides into an outer slipcase. Check it out:
