Following up on BCI's recent release of
Day Break - The Complete Series on DVD, starring Taye Diggs, Moon Bloodgood, Adam Baldwin, Victoria Pratt and Mitch Pileggi, we've got word that BCI has the series in their sights as a possible Blu-ray Disc release in 2009. This is early info, and basically in the planning stages (so it could be subject to change), but it's apparently solid enough that BCI's David Levine mentioned this in a recent post at the
Home Theater Forum website. One of the factors Levine mentioned in BCI moving forward with this is going to be related to the growth of the "TV-on-BD" (TV Shows on Blu-ray Disc) category. We're definitely pushing for the success of that here, naturally! And we'll also keep an eye on this particular title, so stay tuned.
