CBS's 1993 series Dave's World, based on the life and writings of Pulitzer-winning columnist and humorist Dave Barry, is coming to DVD! Barry personally wrote for the show, which starred Harry Anderson (Night Court) as David Barry himself, plus DeLane Matthews (From the Earth to the Moon) as his wife, along with Shadoe Stevens (Hollywood Squares) and Meshach Taylor (Designing Women).
Per an early alert sent to retailers (who kindly passed it on to us; thanks!), we have learned that Dave's World - Season 1 will arrive on August 12th. Those 23 episodes will include guest appearances by Andrea Parker, Florence Henderson, Pat Morita, Fred Willard, Jane Curtin, Peter Scolari, Phil Morris and Amy Yasbeck.
