Back in April we
posted the release date of
Darkwing Duck: Volume 1, and today Disney confirmed the
August 29 date with an announcement. The 3 disc set will contain the 2-part pilot, and the first 25 episodes (27 total). It sounds as though Disney realized their mistake with not including the pilot episodes for
Ducktales and
Rescue Rangers last year. The set will sell for $34.99 US, or $37.99 CAN. The set won't contain any extras.
