The 1991 remake of
Dark Shadows (popularly known as "The Revival Series") is, in many ways, more popular than the original. Short lived, because it was essentially knocked off the air by the start of the Gulf War, it nevertheless has many fans.
TVTome.com (which is, by-the-way, a terrific resource for episode guides and other information about your favorite shows) has pursued the issue of getting this series on DVD. "Darko," the TVTome editor for this show and 20 others, posted the following at

It hasn't been officially annouced, but I emailed MPI Home Video and asked if they would release The Revival Series on DVD, since they are releasing the original show on DVD.
They said they are likely to release it on DVD after they release all of the original show.
