JERRY BRUCKHEIMER'S ORIGINAL NEW POLICE DRAMA

DARK BLUE
TO CONSUMERS JULY 6, 2010

BURBANK, CA - Prolific television and film producer Jerry Bruckheimer's newest police drama Dark Blue is set for release July 6, 2010 from Warner Bros. Home Entertainment Group (WBHEG). Titled Dark Blue: The Complete First Season, this release will be available via disc-on-demand only and can be purchased online at WBshop.com (www.wbshop) and the TNT store (http://shop.tnt.tv/) for $29.95 SRP. Consumers will have the opportunity to watch Dark Blue's entire premiere season before the show's second season premieres on TNT August 4.

Edgy, mysterious and atmospheric, Dark Blue is the high-octane cop drama that centers on a group of dedicated law enforcers who operate in the shadows and lead double lives. The series focuses on LAPD Lt. Carter Shaw (Dylan McDermott, Big Shots) and his special undercover task force who understand that in order to capture criminals one must first get on their level. They also know that going undercover may require cutting ties with those who mean the most. Adrift, isolated and frequently faced with situations that strain the line between right and wrong, these officers know that all that matters is loyalty to each other and the task at hand - bringing down the bad guys.

Dark Blue is the second Bruckheimer/Cannon release to be offered by WBHEG. The first season of Eleventh Hour, Bruckheimer's science-based drama, was released via disc-on-demand last year. WBshop.com has over 600 titles available through its manufacturing-on-demand service. Upon purchase of a title, the state-of-the-art MOD service creates a made-to-order DVD complete with high quality packaging and custom artwork. The finished product typically ships within 2-3 days.
