Fox has announced another show that's slimming down -
Dark Angel. It joins other Fox shows like
The X-Files,
Buffy,
Angel and the recently announced
24, which moved from large, bulky packaging to the slim packaging. Both sets will be re-issued on
June 5, and they'll sell for the suggested price of $39.98 each, which is $20 less than the bulkier sets. Amazon is
preselling season 1, and
season 2 for $35.99, which is just 10% off the retail price, far less than the normal 30% off they give titles. Hopefully the price will come down before these are released.
The contents of the sets remain the same; same transfers and extras will be on these sets as the previous sets.
