A few weeks ago we had a long-awaited
update on the highly anticipated
Daniel Boone DVDs, which have been in-the-works since early this year! In our most recent update, we passed along word that the first DVDs would be announced for September release, and that the announcement would come in mid-June.
Well, it's mid-June! And this morning trade magazine
Home Media Retailing has
posted a story with details of the release. Or, should we, say, releases? Yes, Liberation Entertainment (and distributor Goldhil) are releasing the Season 1 box set and the Season 2 box set at the same time, to kick things off in a way...a BIG way!
You can buy both box sets separately (SRP is $49.98 each) on
September 26th, and that will get you one third of the Fess Parker show's six-season run! There are also some nice extras to be found on these releases, including:
- Audio Commentary from Fess Parker
- interviews with Fess Parker
- A visitor’s guide to Fess Parker's winery and resort
- Photo gallery
