This past November we
reported that the short-lived 1996 series
The Dana Carvey Show would apparently come to DVD in March, per
a pre-order listing at Amazon. The entry there had gone away for a while, and no studio announcement had come through for the title in the meantime.
But this morning we discovered that the listing at Amazon had been restored, and that it shows a new release date of
May 12th. Furthermore, the entry now provides us with some new info about the title: the studio is going to be Shout! Factory. This will be a single disc running approximately 180 minutes long. And Amazon is currently selling this for $25.49, apparently a discounted cost (however, no list price is provided).
We don't have official word from Shout! yet about the release, nor is there any cover art available so far, or info about extras (if any). But stay tuned and we'll fill in the blanks about this release, just as soon as further info comes to light!
