I spoke with a representative from Urbanworks yesterday regarding the syndicated episodes on The Cosby Show Season 1. The syndicated masters were provided by Carsey-Werner for the set, but going forward they will be using the original network versions. They understand that fans want the original episodes of the shows, and will work hard to deliver them. It wasn't mentioned whether they'll issue a corrected season 1 set, so I doubt that will happen.
I also asked about season 2, and was told that the tentative (meaning it could move) release for season 2 is scheduled for March, 2006.
