tipped you off to the info that First Look Entertainment is preparing a "complete series" DVD release for
The Cosby Show. All 8 seasons will coming together on
November 11th, in a release officially titled
The Cosby Show - 25th Anniversary Commemorative Edition. In addition, Bill Cosby himself has recorded an all-new interview for this release, talking about his time on the show, as well as the enduring popularity of this legendary series. Cost is $124.98 list price, buy you can
pre-order it from Amazon at a current cost of $93.99 (but that's subject to change without notice, of course, at Amazon's discretion). As you can see, we have a small look at the cover art for this release, plus the studio description of it below.
NOTE: For those of you wondering if this package will "fix" the previous releases (notably Season 1) which contained syndication-cut episodes, there has been no information available about that. Based on past experience, we can't honestly say that we expect the studio to address this issue in advance; we may not actually find out until the set is released.
