As many of you fans know,
Corner Gas is coming to an end shortly (April 13th) with the series finale of the Canadian show, which is about to finish its 6th year. Yesterday CTV issued
a press release about the end-of-show festivities, and in it was this juicy tidbit about when you'll see the final season on DVD, just eight weeks after the finale airs:
The CORNER GAS Season 6 DVD will be released on June 9, 2009 from Video Service Corp. The new, three-disc, DVD set includes all 19 episodes of the final season, the television special IT'S BEEN A GAS and footage of the final read-through.

In the lighthearted and poignant 30-minute special, cameras go behind-the-scenes during the filming of the final episode of CORNER GAS. As the shooting of the final scene draws near, creator Brent Butt marks the series finale in conversation with each cast member, reflecting on the past six seasons of laughter. Shot on location in Regina and Rouleau, SK, the special features sneak-peeks at the top-secret series finale, "You've Been Great, Good Night.""
