Back in 2006, First National Pictures released the Nickelodeon-aired
Corneil and Bernie on DVD as three "volumes" each with a few episodes on a single disc. Now the property has moved over to Mill Creek Entertainment, who are giving the Nicktoon show better treatment with their upcoming 2-DVD release of
Corneil and Bernie - The Complete Series. All 52 cartoon shorts (26 episodes) are included on this
March 18th release, running 659 minutes. Cost for this, believe it or not, is a mere $14.98! Here is the studio description and cover art:
Featured as part of the popular Nicktoons line-up on the Nickelodeon cable network, this amusing and entertaining cartoon features the comic misadventures of Corneil the dog and his dog-walker, Bernie. When Bernie takes on the job of dog-walking Corneil, he doesn't realize what he's gotten himself into. Corneil turns out to be a very intelligent dog that also happens to be able to talk! With Bernie looking to use Corneil for financial gain, Corneil finds he must keep his new-found friend out of trouble and his abilities a secret. Its one interesting adventure after another with Corneil helping out Bernie with his personal life and Bernie discovering his canine companion offers not only friendship but sound advice.
