Combat! - Official info: cover art, episode lists, and more!

Following up on our heads-up news a few days ago, we now have the official word from Image Entertainment for the split-set release of Combat! on DVD.

Confirmed for July 20th, there will be two DVD sets, sold separately, and each one will contain half of the first season of the popular World War 2 era series from 1962 that stars Vic Morrow and Rick Jason. Both releases are in the original black-and-white fullscreen video, and audio is in English mono. List price is $39.99 for each half-season package. Image's write-ups sound like the bonus material for both sets are exactly the same, and we don't think that's actually the case. It looks more like there was a typo that sabotaged this, and the same supplements were listed twice. If that turns out to be the case, we'll update you and let you know. In the meantime, this looks like a great pair of sets that would surely make "Sarge" proud!
