Back in early July, we
posted a report that the just-released 5th Season set of
Columbo had a coupon inside of it, good for a five dollar savings on the upcoming 6th Season DVDs. The coupon didn't have a release timetable on it, but we heard from retailers sources that it would come out in November.
Now, this morning, Universal has officially announced the set, but it is NOT the sixth season! Instead, they have upped it to
Columbo - The Complete 6th And 7th Seasons, almost tripling the number of episodes that would be included!

Running time on this set is 637 minutes, which makes it about right when commercials are cut out. (Gee, we hope that the coupon is honored, considered the titles don't exactly match!)
Guest stars are brilliantly shining in these episodes, starting with a William Shatner/Walter Koenig ("Kirk" and "Chekov" from
Star Trek) re-team in "Fade in to Murder"!
