"Oh, there's just one more thing..." Everyone's favorite cigar-smoking, trenchcoat-wearing Police Lieutenant is back on DVD asking all the right questions in all 8 thrilling episodes of the Complete Second Season of Columbo. Join five-time Emmy winner Peter Falk as wry and ruffled Lieutenant Columbo as he solves L.A.'s most puzzling crimes with his trademark with and style. Along for the chase are a dazzling lineup of Hollywood's brightest stars including Robert Culp (Everybody Loves Raymond), Valerie Harper (Rhoda), Dean Stockwell (Quantum Leap), Leonard Nimoy (Star Trek), Martin Landeau (Mission: Impossible Series), Marc Singer (V: The Miniseries) and more. In the smart, funny and exciting Second Season of Columbo, it's no mystery to see why this is the DVD series that mystery lovers have been waiting for!

That is Universal's detailed description of Columbo - The Complete 2nd Season, which was announced earlier this week for a March 8 DVD release. Coming on 4 discs running 10 hours, 41 minutes, this will cost $39.98 SRP. Two of the episodes from this season were written by TV legend Steven Bochco (NYPD Blue, LA Law, Hill Street Blues). This is the season to get: it was a Nielsen Top 10 smash, with the highest ratings of all 7 seasons. It got 10 Emmy nominations and was the Golden Globe winner for Outstanding Series, according to the studio's press release.

The studio has also provided cover art for this set, and a look at one of the menus as well. Extras haven't been discussed yet, but stay tuned and we'll let you know if we find out anything about bonus material.
