Columbo, the lovable, bumbling detective played by Peter Falk, is coming to DVD. NBC Universal is set to release season 1 on DVD in early September. Since the set hasn't been officially announced we don't have many details, but according to TVTome.com the first season consisted of 7 episodes which ran for 90 or 120 minutes. There were 2 specials that aired before the first season; it's not known if they will be included on the set.
We'll update you once the set has been officially announced, although we don't expect that to occur for another few months.
