Columbo -Early 2009 Release Planned for the Columbo - Mystery Movie Collection 1990
3-DVD set coming in February, according to Universal's info

After a long wait since the "1989 Collection" release back in April 2007, Universal has posted info at their consumer website showing that the Columbo - Mystery Movie Collection 1990 DVD release is coming home at last on February 3rd. This 3-disc set is expected to cost $26.98 SRP, the same as the previous "Mystery Movie" release. There were six feature-length stories released in 1990:
"Columbo Cries Wolf"
"Agenda for Murder"
"Rest in Peace, Mrs. Columbo"
"Uneasy Lies the Crown"
"Murder in Malibu"
"Columbo Goes to College"
Joining star Peter Falk in these six productions are Deidre Hall (Days of our Lives), Ian Buchanan (The Bold and the Beautiful), Gigi Rice (The John Larroquette Show), Louis Zorich (Mad About You), Patrick McGoohan (The Prisoner), Stanley Kamel (Monk), Denis Arndt (Picket Fences), Bruce Kirby (Kojak), Helen Shaver (Poltergeist: The Legacy), Ian McShane (Deadwood), Teresa Ganzel (Transylvania 6-5000), Nancy Walker (McMillan & Wife), Dick Sargent (Bewitched), baseball great Ron Cey, Brenda Vaccaro (Midnight Cowboy), Andrew Stevens (Emerald Point N.A.S.), Katherine Cannon (Beverly Hills 90210) and Robert Culp (Greatest American Hero).
Columbo - Mystery Movie Collection 1990 will be presented in full-frame video, with English mono audio, and with English subtitles. Package art isn't available yet, but stay tuned and we'll bring it to you just as soon as we can. Our thanks to reader Eric Paddon for the heads-up about this item!
