Chuck: The Complete Second season and didn't find the 3D glasses or 3D episode inside. Warner Bros
mentioned that the 3D episode would be a limited release, but fans assumed they'd be able to pick up a set on release date and get the episode and glasses, so what happened?
We spoke to Warner Bros yesterday and they were already aware of the problem and were busy working on a solution. Basically orders for the sets came in much higher than they had anticipated, and they had to do a second pressing of the set in order to meet the initial demand. Normally that wouldn't be a problem for a DVD/Blu-ray set, except they needed more glasses, and those couldn't be obtained in time to get the sets into stores.
It may take Warner a bit longer to come up with a solution, but they want everyone to know they're working on it.
