No more Mr. Nice Spy! Chuck is back and he's the Chuck you know: the hapless Nerd Herder hopelessly devoted to sexy super spy Sarah. And he's the Chuck you don't know: a master martial artist whose brain is locked and loaded with the new Intersect 2.0. How the two Chucks clash, bash and (sometimes) cooperate makes Season Three total, action-packed fun. More new stuff: A dashing rival (Brandon Routh) joins the team, someone from Chuck's Buy More life discovers his secret and Chuck learns the spy biz can turn the nicest guy dark and dangerous. "For the last two years, we've protected Chuck from the world," the General notes. "But now we have to protect the world from Chuck."
Last week we posted a story that Warner Home Video's releases for Chuck - The Complete 3rd Season on DVD ($59.98 SRP) and Blu-ray Disc ($69.98 SRP) would be available starting September 7th. Today Warner confirmed that info with their official announcement of the title. It will be 5 discs on the DVD version, and 4 discs on the Blu-ray set, with Bonus Material that consists of Declassified Scenes, a Gag Reel, and 2 Featurettes: "Chuck-Fu...and Dim Sum: Becoming a Spy Guy" and "The Jeffster Revolution: The Definitive Mockumentary." Video is widescreen, with high-def 1080p resolution on the BD version. Audio on both versions is English Dolby Surround 5.1, with an option on the DVD for Portuguese Stereo. Subtitles are in Spanish, French, Portuguese, Thai and Chinese on the DVD and are in Spanish, French and Portuguese on the Blu-ray. Running time is 817 minutes. Here's the finalized package art for both versions, now in a nice 3D view:
