This November Cartoon Network and Warner Home Video introduce to DVD the deliciously funny and incredibly popular series - Chowder - with the release of Chowder: Volume 1. Arriving at retail on November 4th for the suggested retail price of $14.97, the highly-anticipated release features 10 stories from the series that follow the hysterical misadventures of Chowder, who has aspirations of becoming the world's greatest chef. A runaway television success and Cartoon Network's latest original series, Chowder reached more than 11.5 million kids during its 13-week run, and is the anchor of the channel's HAR HAR THARSDAY programming franchise.
This fall children everywhere can sink their teeth into the hysterical and magical world of Chowder with the DVD debut of Cartoon Network's hilariously popular television series, Chowder: Volume 1. The highly-anticipated DVD features 10 stories from the series which tells the unimaginable tales of an energetic lad with aspirations of becoming the greatest chef in the world. The DVD also includes the "Chowder's Girlfriend Animatic" as a special feature.
Created by Cartoon Network Studios veteran storyboard artist C.H. Greenblatt, Chowder chronicles the magical misadventures of a young chef's apprenticeship in the fantastical city of Marzipan where each day is filled with amazing and surreal situations and avoiding one disaster of another. Chowder is perfect for the job because no one loves cooking or trying foods more than he does. However, as sweet and enthusiastic as he is, chaos ensues wherever he goes. Chowder may not be ready to be a chef on his own, but he'll get there one day, if he doesn't destroy the town trying!
