Back in 2002, AD Vision released
a "best-of" DVD for the first season of
Cheaters, the show that catches people in the act of being unfaithful. Now Universal's Music Group division is putting out a pair of best-of DVD box sets, showing the greatest portions of the entire run of the show, now in its 5th year.
There is a 3-DVD
The Best of Cheaters, and a 4-DVD
The Best of Cheaters: Uncensored, both available from
November 1st. The 3-disc set contains 19 of the best episodes, running around 12 hours, at a $29.99 SRP. The 4-disc set adds a bonus DVD with 90 minutes of uncensored footage, for $34.99 SRP. Fans of the show will almost certainly want to pop the extra $5 (or less, considering retailer discounts) to get the extra footage. Watch out, though: sometimes this reality show might get just a little too real...as in the episode where host Joey Greco got stabbed by one guy who was surprised and angered when Greco and the man's wife (not to mention the camera crews) burst through the door and caught him red-handed in the act of infidelity. Ouch!
