We've had a number of concerned
Charmed fans email us to ask about a disclaimer that turned up on the Australian and UK releases of season 2. The disclaimer said:
Some episodes may be edited from their original network versions.
Paramount has told us that the disclaimer was placed on international releases because lawyers were worried slightly different versions of the episodes may have aired overseas (different from our broadcast versions). In other words, their broadcast versions, and the versions which aired in North America might have been different, so the uncut, unedited US versions of the episodes which appeared on the DVD sets might have been different from the episodes broadcast overseas, so a disclaimer was applied. This means that the disclaimer won't appear on the season 2 sets sold in North America, and no footage, or songs, will be missing.
