We have received a LOT of e-mail asking about whether or not the pilot telefilm would be included in the Complete First Season release of Charlie's Angels. Especially with concerns that 22 "hour long" episodes plus the pilot might not fit onto 5 discs, especially with the supplements (a 20-minute featurette and an unknown number of "trailers").
The frank answer is, we don't know for sure one way or the other...yet. But past experience with Columbia (the Mad About You First Season release, for example), shows that the pilot is included if available, and that that Columbia will find a way to squeeze all the programming into the available DVD space. So our advice is to relax and expect it to be included. If it's not, it's too late to change Columbia's mind in any case; they never solicate releases until the product is finalized.
