As you probably know by now, September 2nd sees the DVD release from Warner Home Video of It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown: Remastered Deluxe Edition, featuring both the titular holiday special PLUS the bonus TV special called "It's Magic, Charlie Brown". We've also reported that the follow-up release from Warner, probably in October, will be You're Not Elected, Charlie Brown: Remastered Deluxe Edition.
Now Warner has given us the heads-up on what to expect after that, and it won't come as any real surprise. It's going to be not one, but two further releases timed to arrive with the holiday season:
- A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving: Remastered Deluxe Edition
- A Charlie Brown Christmas: Remastered Deluxe Edition
Each will come with their own Bonus
Peanuts TV specials on board, but no word yet on what they will be (and we won't guess...last time we did that, we were wrong!).
Then, at the same time the Christmas DVD is released, Warner will also put out the
Deluxe Holiday Collection: 3 Remastered Classics package, which takes the
Great Pumpkin, Thanksgiving and
Christmas DVD releases and combines them in one slipcase to be sold as a group. You've seen that package art above by now, naturally.

Deluxe Holiday Collection: 3 Remastered Classics packages, each of which we've "cut out" from an extra-large version of the above picture. Release dates haven't announced set for these new titles, but it's safe to say we'll see them sometime in the month of
November, give or take. We're not even sure that the Thanksgiving and Christmas releases will arrive the same day, but we wouldn't be surprised if they did! Stay tuned for updates.
