That didn't take long! Earlier today we
reported on Warner Home Video's announcement for
A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving: Remastered Deluxe Edition, coming to DVD on
October 7th. At the time we mentioned that there were other un-announced titles that we knew were on the way for 2008, including
A Charlie Brown Christmas: Remastered Deluxe Edition. A short time ago, Warner followed up with the official announcement for that release as well, and it's coming out on the same date!
As with the Thanksgiving special,
A Charlie Brown Christmas: Remastered Deluxe Edition is a 25-minute cartoon which will be accompanied on the new DVD release with a bonus special. This time it's the 1992 follow-up,
It's Christmastime Again, Charlie Brown. Also included among the extras is a new Featurette called "A Christmas Miracle: The Making of
A Charlie Brown Christmas".
The price will be $19.98 SRP. The feature is presented in full screen video, with mono audio available in English, Spanish, Japanese and Portuguese. Subtitles are included with English, Spanish, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese and Thai.
Although not announced as of this moment, it seems safe to say that we should soon see an announcement for the
