Chappelle's Show - Art, Date, Running Time & A Rather High Possible Price For The Lost Episodes: Uncensored

At the end of April we had the very first info about Chappelle's Show - The Lost Episodes: Uncensored coming to DVD. These are the partially-produced portions of the "lost" 3rd Season of the show, which was aborted when star Dave Chappelle reportedly got upset about certain aspects of the way the network was steering the direction of the show, and simply walked out and hopped a plane to South Africa. Comedy Central has compiled these into 3 episodes, and Paramount Home Entertainment is bringing this to DVD on July 25th:
Dave Chappelle is back! …Sort of. Three completed episodes from the long-lost third season of Chappelle’s Show are finally available for mass consumption. With the success of the first two seasons, Dave finally gets to meet the President of Show Business, spends some time in the limelight on MTV's Cribs, and gives his best impersonations of P. Diddy, ‘Lil Jon and Gary Coleman. Combine that with some great musical guests and you've got proof that Dave Chappelle is now and forever will be one of the funniest, most boundary-pushing comedians ever to grace television.

You'll get 68 minutes of material on a single DVD disc. The studio hasn't given a price range so far, but more than one of our retailer sources say the SRP will be announced in the high twenties...approximately $27.99, give or take a couple of dollars. That sounds a bit high for just over an hour of material, doesn't it? Let's hope that's a mistake! Here's the cover art:
