Sorry for the double-whammy news in one day, folks, but we thought that this news merited its own separate post, rather than just updating the earlier item.
In
news which was posted earlier today, we passed on word from distributor Paramount Home Entertainment that
Chappelle's Show - The Complete 2nd Season - originally scheduled for early February but delayed to tie in with the broadcast debut of the show's third season - was now tentatively planned for sometime in May.
Just minutes ago, Paramount sent out a bulletin informing us that a specific date was now set:
May 24th is that new street date.
As we've said before, this will be on 3 discs running 275 minutes, plus extras such as audio commentaries by Dave Chappelle and series co-creator Neal Brennan, two unaired Charlie Murphy Hollywood Stories, the Rick James extended interview, extra stand-up material from Dave Chappelle, and over 1 hour of bloopers and deleted scenes!
