Lately we've been getting a *ton* of e-mail from readers, telling us that
Chappelle's Show - Season 2 Uncensored will arrive on
February 8th.
We know, we know. We also now know, a month after that news first hit, more details of the set. But first, let's take a look at the cover art, and Paramount/Comedy Central's synopsis of the release:
Dave Chappelle is back for a second season and he has even more to say in this street-smart half hour sketch comedy series. Dave's unique point-of-view on the world provides a comedic and sometimes defiant look at American culture, including music, movies, television, advertising, current events and everyday life situations.
As you can see above, this is a 3-DVD release this time, and the running time is 308 minutes. Price has not been announced yet, nor have they discussed extras, either. Stay tuned for more about that.
If you're out and about on this coming Friday, Nov. 26th, and braving the stores in the day-after-Thanksgiving rush of sales, then keep your eyes peeled for one retailer (sorry, I'm not allowed to say which one) that will be selling the
Chappelle's Show - Season 1 Uncensored for an amazingly low $9.99. That's not a typo...it's just under ten dollars! Now you can get it as a gift for that dude who keeps borrowing your copy. This great price on the first season is just one of the amazing TV-on-DVD bargains you'll find Friday in the crazy world of "Black Friday" (retail's busiest day of the year) sale prices. Good luck, and good hunting!
Oh, and don't think we're taking the holidays off, either. No way...we'll have new news stories all throughout the long holiday weekend: at least one story a day. It will give us the chance to catch up on some news stories we haven't had time to post due to the flood of releases. We don't ever rest here at TVShowsOnDVD, so keep checking back!
