Early in March we
revealed the cover art for Comedy Central's
Home Grown DVD, an upcoming (
June 10) release which contains episodes of
Chappelle's Show, The Sarah Silverman Program, Reno 911!, TV Funhouse, Strangers with Candy and
Lewis Black’s Root of All Evil.
Now distributor Paramount Home Entertainment has delivered revised cover art for the package. Maybe some of the retailers out there might have balked at stocking the previous "apple bong" version of the cover art on their shelves, due to possible controversy? That's just a guess; we're not sure at all, but it seems logical, doesn't it? Anyway, it looks like Comedy Central has gone the possibly-safer 'shroom route this time around:
