Casablanca - 'The Complete Series' from 1983, Starring David Soul and Ray Liotta

2-DVD set is scheduled for release in late June

The 1983 television interpretation of the legendary Bogey film Casablanca starred David Soul (Starsky & Hutch) as "Rick Blaine"; Hector Elizondo (Chicago Hope) as "Captain Louis Renault"; Reuven Bar-Yotam (Masada) as "Ferrari"; Ray Liotta (Something Wild, Field of Dreams, Goodfellas) as "Sacha"; and Scatman Crothers (Chico and the Man, The Transformers, Hong Kong Phooey) as "Sam." And Olive Films will "play it again" when they release Casablanca - The Complete Series as a 2-DVD set on June 26th. The program didn't last long, but it won an Emmy Award for "Outstanding Cinematography for a Series" (and was further nominated for "Outstanding Art Direction for a Series"). Priced at $39.95 SRP, you can pre-order it at a nice discount using the Amazon link below, seen just over the cover art. Our thanks to reader Alexander Ricci for tipping us off about this item!
