Back in June we first
passed along word that
November 6th will see the release of
A Carol Burnett Christmas: Special Collectors Edition on DVD. This single-disc release priced at $19.98 SRP includes 4 total episodes, including a bonus rare "lost" episode from the first season of
Candid Camera. This is coming from Legendary Entertainment Alliance and distributor eOne Entertainment.
Now we've learned that on the same date,
November 6th, eOne will release the same title with a Bonus CD, with the soundtrack from this DVD. In fact, the CD is already available separately since last week, a $14.98 (SRP) value. But you can get both DVD and CD together for $29.98 SRP, a savings of at roughly five dollars (it may vary, depending on retailer discounts). Note that the cover art for these two variations are a bit different in that one says "four episodes," and the other says "three episodes plus rare
Candid Camera episode." In the end it's two ways of saying the same thing, and you might consider it a sort-of typo. The folks at distributor eOne informed be today, however, that the artwork might not be final and could still be subject to change.
