The Captain & Tennille DVDs are in-the-works from R2 Entertainment! Starring Daryl Dragon as "The Captain" and Toni Tennille as, well, "Tennille," the popular '70s musical act had hit albums including 1975's Grammy-winning "Love Will Keep Us Together." Their variety show debuted on television in 1976, and featured guest stars such as Jackie Gleason (
The Honeymooners), Don Knotts (
The Andy Griffith Show), and Annette Funicello (
The Mickey Mouse Club).
It's one of several shows coming to DVD in 2005 which we discuss in
