A week and a half ago we
passed along a report from a fan website, that
California Dreams is coming to DVD in 2009! Since then the fan site has
posted an update from cast member Brentley Gore, who says that he "...(and)
Kelly Packard, Michael Cade and Jennie Kwan have been confirmed to appear for the DVD release shoot (Seasons 1 and 2) at an undisclosed location in Hollywood. There will be interviews and commentary." Neat!
But that's not the end of it. We've gotten word from our retail sources, saying that the studio putting this release out has now begun providing them with info about the release. It's none other than our friends over at Shout! Factory, and they've provided their distributors and retailers with a release date of
March 31st for
Calfornia Dreams - Seasons 1 and 2. This will be a 5-disc set. No other info is available yet, and that "nothing else" includes both pricing and package art. Still, it is now officially official, and more details will be coming in the not-too-distant future. Stay tuned!
