Fox/MGM will release "Season 1" of
Cagney & Lacey on
May 8. We put "season 1" in quotes because this is actually the second season, but the first to feature Sharon Gless in the role of Cagney. The show kicked off with a TV movie, followed by a 6-episode season 1, then the 22 episode second season, which is what this set is.

It's unclear what plans are being made for the pilot movie and the 6 episodes from season 1. Episodes on this set will be presented in Full Frame (1.33:1), with English mono audio. The set will retail for $39.98.
