New York's toughest lady detectives re-team to solve the murder of a homeless transient who had been terrorizing the residents of a posh apartment building with screaming threats, insults and physical intimidation. Though the cops think the culprit is another street person, Cagney and Lacey believe the real killer is one of the tenants, many of whom have ample reason to have murdered the boorish bum.
Back in late 2009, S'More Entertainment
released a DVD set of
Cagney & Lacey - The Menopause Years, with all 4 post-series telefilms for the classic show starring Sharon Gless and Tyne Daly. At the same time S'More also put out a separate release of
Cagney & Lacey - The Return, the first of those reunion productions. The idea was to make all four of those movies-of-the-week available individually, sooner or later, for fans who didn't want to get the larger, more expensive set.
Now we've got word that S'More and their current retail distributor, eOne Entertainment, is preparing the second of those individual releases: 1995's
Cagney & Lacey - Together Again will be in stores starting
August 30th. Cost for this disc is just $12.98 SRP, as you can see on the early box art shown below (could be subject to change). Besides the main feature, you'll also get a bonus interview with Sharon Gless, who's seen on
Burn Notice these days.
