When Paramount first
officially announced the
C.S.I.: NY - The Complete 1st Season DVD set, they gave out a release date of October 25th for what was said to be a six-disc set. Later on, they confirmed that the accurate count of discs in this release would be 7 DVDs...good news for those of us counting all all 24 episodes (including the "pilot" episode which aired as part of
C.S.I.: Miami, called "MIA/NYC - NonStop"), plus cool extras such as a Character Examination by the Cast, a look at The Science Behind the Scenes , a
C.S.I.: NY set tour, and more.
Now Paramount's making fans even happier, letting us know that the release date for this set has been moved one week closer! The new date, as confirmed in
Amazon's pre-order listing (thanks to reader Simon Lavis for that tip), is
October 18th. SRP is $79.99 per Amazon, but they will sell it to you for just $55.99. Great news all around!
