It was in the middle of the hurricane season this past August when we
reported that Miami had been blown away! Uh, that's
C.S.I.: Miami - The Complete 2nd Season, and it was the street date that was blown away...to
January 4th, that is. Now CBS/Paramount has delivered the official info for this 7-DVD set, and we have the details!
Led by former homicide detective Horatio Caine (David Caruso), CSI: MIAMI follows a Miami forensics unit as they work crimes amid the steamy, tropical surroundings and cultural crossroads of Miami. Caine leads an elite team that includes Calleigh Duquesne (Emily Procter), a bilingual Southern beauty with a specialty in ballistics; Tim Speedle (Rory Cochrane), a cocky yet disarming investigator who is well-connected on the street; Eric Delko (Adam Rodriguez), an underwater recovery expert who knows all the twists and turns of the Florida waterways; and Alexx Woods (Khandi Alexander), the no-nonsense, know-it-all coroner.
C.S.I.: Miami - The Complete 2nd Season features all 24 episodes from the second year in a 7-disc DVD set that includes special features exclusive to the DVD release:

This set is a widescreen version enhanced for 16:9 televisions. Look for Dolby Digital English 5.1 and Spanish Dolby Surround, plus it is closed captioned for the hearing impaired. The running time is 1043 minutes, and there is no suggested retail price for this but the studio tells us to expect it to be priced by retailers for around $70.
