We've had a couple of other "Animation Station" related news posts in the past 24 hours (
Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors,
Stargate: Infinity), so why not one more for the road?
If you're reading this, you're probably a fan of
Bump In The Night, the half-hour Saturday-morning "claymation" series that ran on ABC back in the mid-90's, starring the monster who hides under your bed called "Mr. Bumpy."
As with the DVDs mentioned in the other two news items, this is another one that isn't found on e-tailer sites such as Amazon, DVDPlanet, or DVDEmpire. In fact, I cannot find any mention of this item online at all! I ran across it in my local Wal-Mart's display of Halloween videos; I paid $9.64 plus tax for it:

Night of the Living Bread is in the original 1.33:1 video format, and comes with English and Spanish soundtracks. This 88-minute-long disc has the following episodes:
- "Bump & Roll"
- "Night of the Living Bread"
- "Party Pooper"
- "School's Out" (a Karaoke Cafe song)
- "Not a Peep"
- "Adventures in Microbia"
- "All You Need is Glove"
- "Squishy Prince"
I don't know how long this has been available, but it's probably been around a month since it advertises on the back other DiC Animation Station releases from 9/2/03 such as
Wizard of Oz: The Continuing Story.
But, would you believe that there's a
Bump In The Night DVD that's been out for a year? Well, I can't believe it either, but while looking at every online retailer I could think of for additional information about the above DVD, I came across an Amazon.CA (Canada) listing for
this item that the e-tailer says has been out since 9/10/2002!
I hope this brings some cheer to all you
Bump fans out there. Looks like we had 2 DVD's hiding under the bed and eating our socks, and we didn't even know it!
