Brotherhood - New Showtime Series Debuts Next Weekend, Then Debuts On DVD This Fall

Brotherhood, a Showtime original series, follows the lives of two brothers in the Providence, Rhode Island Irish-American neighborhood known as "The Hill." The blue-collar neighborhood has roots in old-world ways of street justice and shady dealings. Tommy Caffee (Jason Clarke) is a family man and local politician who is out to protect the community and its best interests. His world is turned around when his gangster brother Mike (Jason Isaacs) returns to "The Hill" to regain control of the seedy underworld.

One week from tonight, Showtime debuts Brotherhood. This new drama stars Jason Isaacs ("Lucius Malfoy" in the Harry Potter films) and Jason Clarke. With a July 9th broadcast debut, expect a quick consecutive run of all 11 episodes. The season finale for the rookie season is planned for September 17th, and that's just in time for the September 19th DVD release of Brotherhood - The Complete 1st Season!

According to Amazon.com, this 3-disc set will cost $29.98 SRP (they're pre-selling it for $20.99, though). They show a running time of 583 minutes, widescreen video, and Dolby audio. Stay tuned for further details (including extras, if any) and package art.
