Last October we
reported on a February 2008 release of Showtime's
Brotherhood - The Complete 2nd Season, but then in December we passed on that these DVDs would
arrive in August instead. Now fans of this show starring Jason Isaacs, Jason Clarke and Annabeth Gish will have to wait a bit more, as this morning Paramount Home Entertainment passed on that the latest release date for this package is now
October 7th! Yes, that's the official word now, despite the fact that
Amazon's pre-order listing currently shows an even later date, of October 28th. The only other info the studio offers right now is a mention of two free episodes of
Californication (probably via download), and specs consisting of widescreen video, English and Spanish audio and a 10-hour running time. Amazon has some temporary art showing right now; stay tuned for actual package art when Paramount makes it available.
