His name is Marshall Bravestarr, and he's come to the rough-and-tumble planet of New Texas to bring some law to its anarchy. Aided by the shape-changing technohorse Thirty-Thirty and the beautiful Judge J. B., Bravestarr protects the settlers and miners from the motley villains that want to steal the valuable mineral Kerium.
The outlaw Tex Hex and his gang have lots of technological weapons at their command - and occasional assists by the powerful phantom Stampede - but they're no match for Bravestarr's own powers: the strength of the bear, the speed of the puma, the eyes of the hawk, and the ears of the wolf!
After this past Summer's
Best of Bravestarr release, with the top 5 fan-selected episodes and the
Bravestarr: The Legend film, BCI is now going back and preparing to release every televised episode of the animated series in volume sets, similar to their releases of
He-Man and
She-Ra.
November 20th will see the release of
Bravestarr - Volume 1 on 4 DVDs, with the first 33 episodes of this program, including all the "moral of the story" recaps at the end of each cartoon. The remaining episodes will be released on a "Volume 2" set, sometime in 2008.
