Paramount/CBS has decided to provide an inexpensive single-DVD release of
The Brady Bunch, for those retailers and consumers who prefer to avoid filling the shelves up with big season sets. Many of our readers prefer to get their TV a season at a time, and that's the overwhelming preference among most consumers, but there are still a significant number of buyers interested in just a sampling of a given show, rather than going full-tilt with it.
For those folks, the studio is releasing
The Brady Bunch - The 1st Season, Disc 1 on
October 3rd. The price point wasn't made available, but our guess would put it in the under-$15 range. The single disc will have the first 7 episodes of the series. Here's the box art:
