THE SHOW THAT LAUNCHED TOM HANKS' CAREER DEBUTS ON DVD
The Classic 80s Sitcom Arrives On DVD March 13, 2007 For The First Time Ever
HOLLYWOOD, Calif. - Relive the hilarious escapades of pals Kip and Henry when BOSOM BUDDIES The First Season debuts on DVD March 13, 2007 from CBS Home Entertainment and Paramount Home Entertainment. One of the funniest sitcoms of the 1980s, BOSOM BUDDIES followed the outrageous antics of two single men who disguise themselves as women in order to live in a cheap apartment in a women-only building. The show helped launch the career of Academy Award® winner Tom Hanks whose pitch-perfect comic timing and terrific chemistry with co-star Peter Scolari made the show a hit. The series also starred Wendie Jo Sperber as the one person who knows about the guys' secret, Donna Dixon as the hot neighbor who Kip wants to get close to, Telma Hopkins as a tenant who befriends the guys' alter egos, Buffy and Hildegarde, and Holland Taylor as Kip and Henry's shrewish boss. The BOSOM BUDDIES The First Season three-DVD set features all 19 episodes including the series pilot. The DVD will be available for the suggested retail price of $49.99 U.S./$56.99 Canada.
