CENTURY CITY, Calif. - Uncovering the truth behind gruesome homicides by examining rotting flesh is just another day at the office for a prosaic forensic anthropologist and her cocky FBI partner in "BONES" Season Four,debuting on Blu-ray Disc (BD) and DVD October 6 from Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment. Starring Emily Deschanel (Glory Road, That Night) as the brilliant yet socially awkward Dr. Temperance "Bones" Brennan, and David Boreanaz (Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Angel) as F.B.I. Special Agent Seeley Booth, the exciting series is powered by dark humor and sizzling co-star chemistry. Forming an improbable bond, Booth and 'Bones' conduct gruesome investigations into the disturbing realities of true crime aided by a group of unlikely colleagues including an insect expert and conspiracy theorist, coroner and psychologist, among others. The strong supporting cast includes Michaela Conlin (Enchanted), T.J. Thyne (The Phone Book), Tamara Taylor ("Lost") John Francis Daley ("Freaks & Geeks") and Brendan Fehr ("CSI: Miami"). "BONES" Season Four includes 22 full-hour episodes on the DVD (four episodes previously included in Season Three), and all 26 episodes on the Blu-ray Disc. Both also include three extended episodes, deleted scenes, a gag reel, and featurettes exclusive to the "BONES" Season Four Blu-ray Disc and DVD sets. "BONES" Season Four Synopsis:
Temperance Brennan is a highly skilled forensic anthropologist in Washington, DC. FBI Agent Seeley Booth calls on her to assist with investigations when the standard methods of identifying a body are useless - when the remains are badly decomposed, burned or destroyed beyond recognition.
