Fans have been wondering where the announcement is for Bones - Season 3 on DVD, and the answer is: Fox hasn't made one yet! However, we dug deep into our industry contacts and managed to find out that the studio has at least set a tentative release date for the package. That date - subject to change, of course - is currently penciled in for November 11th.
While no details about the release are available yet, we certainly ought to expect it to have all 15 episodes from the strike-shortened third season. That count includes the episode "Player Under Pressure," which was produced for the second season but didn't air until the third (due to the killings which occurred at Virginia Tech; the plot of this episode included the death of a college athlete). The episode wasn't included on the Season 2 DVDs, but we expect it will be found on the third season set. That's just our thinking, however; there are no guarantees about it.
