Two weeks ago we
broke the news that CBS DVD and Paramount Home Entertainment are preparing releases of both
Bonanza - The Official 1st Season, Volume 1 and
Bonanza - The Official 1st Season, Volume 2. Each of these half-season sets, which together bring you every episode from the classic show's first year, will be sold individually as well as available shrink-wrapped together into a single convenient bundle.
The original story gave a release date of Sept. 1st, but this morning the studio has made their announcement official, and rescheduled the formal street date as well. The correct date that the Cartwright clan rides into stores is
September 15th. No other new info is available as of this writing, but stay tuned and we'll update you with further details, plus package art, just as soon as we can!
